There seems to be different technogolies used by different cameras....GPS, laser, radar etc....

Is there a single detector that will pick them all up?

If not which is best?

my wife got pulled over by a motorcycle cop and the radar detector did go off but when it was too late, usually other times it warns her ahead of time with the cop vehicle but the motorcycle ones can be tricky. Hers is a 9 or 12 band one cant remember but is there a good one for motorcycle cops or in general? The cop told her that now they have better equpment therefore hers did not work as it should.

My 1999 Mercury Mountaineer has a small screen inside that shows how many miles I can go until the gas tank is empty. Currently, the car is on 'E' but it still shows that I have 18 miles until empty. I need to leave my house, but I'm afraid I'll run out of gas seeing as how the nearest open gas station is 8 miles away. Would it be okay to drive now, and will I make it?

If you were going so slow, that neither vehicles were damaged one bit. Probably going around 10 mph- actually slowing down, not slamming on brakes.
Is it possible for the person in the car hit to have any kind of neck injuries/problems?

Any ideas? Been looking around kind of but there are tons of them out there and I haven't kept up. Seems like the better they look, the less fuel efficient they are and vise versa.

When E-brake drifting in an automatic car, do you pull the e-brake first, or turn the wheel first? Also, do you pull the e-brake up all the way, or just partially? Is it the same for manual?

When brake drifting in an automatic car, how many times do you have to brake, and at what points in the turn? Does the brake that initiates the drift have to be at the turn's clipping point?

When power drifting, do you let off the accelleration before or after you have turned at the turn's clipping point?

The upper peninsula of Michigan has some very rough terrain, gravel roads, and a lot of snow/ice in the winter. What is the best car/truck to have in conditions like these? Anyone from UP, Alaska, cold climates please give advice-we think we might have to trade in our Ford Focus sedan before winter sets in!

According to "Trucks" (TV show), there was a Roush truck, very fast doing 0 to 60 in 6.2 sec and a quarter mile in 15.2 sec.

Now here is the good part

A 2006 Hyundai Sonata with 235 Hp and at a weight of 3600 lb can do 0 to 60 in 6.6 seconds and a quarter in 15.5- 15.6

Why can the 500 Hp racing truck only do a tad better than a Hyundai with half the power?
