Assume 12K miles per year, perhaps as high as 14K miles.

64K for 4-5 year old is a wee bit on the high side, but not excessively so. Hopefully it's all highway miles.

People typically drive 12,000 miles a year. That's not bad for a car 4-5 years old. 5 X 12k is 60K right there. So you are just fine as long as its been taken care of.

Not only did the first person to answer not answer the question correctly, his statement is crap. You get a hell of a lot more miles than 120,000 out of American cars.

The average driver puts 10,000 to 12,000 miles on a car every year. I just bought a car that had 108,000 miles on it & it's a 2000. This usually means the car was used mostly on the freeway. Take the car to a trusted mechanic and do online research to see if others with the same year, model are satisfied.

1,000 miles per month (12,000 miles/year) is considered average, so age must be taken into consideration. The BMW you mentioned was driven on average 6,500 miles per year.

Depends on the car. American cars generally go about 120k miles. I've seen Hondas, Toyota's, etc go 300k or more.
