Actually, UHaul does rent one way (I know because I have rented from them in the past when I moved from Florida to California). And they do allow towing, since when I rented the truck from them, I also rented a trailer.

You obviously asked the wrong Uhaul or Ryder place. Since I *know* they allow one-way rentals AND towing. Heck, they'll even rent you those little cargo trailers!

You can rent a full size truck from any company (Hertz, Alamo, Toyota, etc), and then rent a car trailer seperately to avoid all the "Fine Print"
