If your first car is my dream car, you get best answer.... Don't worry, it's nothing like a viper, or some outrageous piece of metal. It's a very simple, and small car..

I seen them youtube video's of racers who takes off really quick.. and i am like how in the world can they do that, while it takes me like me 10 seconds to find the sweet spot lol =/ .. Do they know where the sweet spot is and just press in the gas all the way? i though that will make the car stall.. and does this mean once i am on the sweet spot of the clutch i can just go fall in gas, till it's moving then let the clutch go.?

I just took my NY road test for my license. I failed by 5 points. You need 30 points or under to pass and I had 35. One mistake is when I had to parallel park. At first I was too far from the curb. The instructor told me "can you get closer to the curb?" I fixed it and then was fine. He still took 5 points off for that even though I fixed it. Is this fair? My mom wants to file a complaint especially since I'll be starting college soon with most likely no car.

My friend is telling me all this stuff about breaking in the engine, I've never heard of such a thing. The road trip is about a 3 hour drive. My dad says it will be ok so long as I stop for about 30 minutes somewhere along the way. What should I do?

I have been driving since 1996 and have never had any trouble with the courts. I passed my advanced driving test in 2000, and like to think I am a good driver. I am not certain the police have this right, so can I contest this, and win? Seems unfair when my car was scratched, the police knew it, and did nothing, also the company never paid for the car to be fixed up. Guess I am just p*ssed off. Help !!

The car has the option of being put into a manual transmission mode and paddle shifted, but I'm ususally in automatic mode. Will this help my brakes last longer? Use less fuel? Put less strain on my engine while idleing? Cause more wear on my transmission? How about when in stop and go traffic? Or am I waisting my time? Saturn Aura 3.6L VVT.

I had an appointment to test drive a car at 12:30. I got there and the car wasnt there. The salesmen made comments like 'it was supposed to be here at twelve' and 'she's been driving all weekend.' (It was Wednesday though) About 12:45 a lady drives up in the car. It's dirty, reaks of smoke, and all her personal stuff was in the car. She didn't have on a uniform or anything like she worked there. The car had 5000 more miles than what the ad said. The salesman had to clean it out before the test drive. It was a fairly new car too, a 2006 with low miles. I thought all this seemed very strange. (I ended up getting a car somewhere else).

I need to transport my vehicle from Los Angeles to Chicago. I need the transit time to be approximately 2 weeks or less. The cheapest way by far is Terminal to Terminal transport, but I've heard from the companies that do Door-to-Door transport, that it takes 2 months to get your vehicle and that they won't cover any damage to your vehicle, etc. Does anyone know anything about Terminal to Terminal transport from PERSONAL experience, rather than a sales person trying to tell me to use their service instead of terminal-to-terminal?
