What is the best advice you learned from your dad when it comes to saving gas? Have you turned "green" too?

a friend of mine who repairs cars and sells them says if a car was manufactured in 1973, (uk) it does`nt require road tax. also, i saw an advert for a car for sale recently saying it`s exempt from road tax because it was made in 1973. i think it was an m.g. i`m rather baffled by this. dont all vehicles have to be taxed? also, does this apply to any other countries. (e.g. america)

1) The technology already exists 2) All I am missing are computer programmers & electronic engineers to put them together 3) I've researched most types of electronic engines and this is completely original.

The legal part isn't important I know the whole thing about getting that, I just don't get how I can "partner" with talent that I can express my invention to so that I can get some traction. Do i have to call Boeing or something Jebus.....help me. I mean, i honestly don't know if it will work, but it makes sense and is totally original.

Would you buy a used car with 150+ miles?

Im getting my permit next summer and i'm trying to get an idea on a nice car but not expensive. Around 3-4 grand.

I was looking at some grand prix's and the bodys are in excellent condition but have high mileage. They look super clean though. Would you buy a car with that many miles?

Any other suggestions on cars? Not just "get a honda or toyota" I want the model of the car also lol..

If insurance denies the claim can you then try to sue the driver?

I was in an accident in June and my insurance denied the other driver's claim, now I get a letter threatening to sue me for $1400.

Can they do this?

Ok, so I'm going to be getting an 08 rabbit pretty soon and am looking at some engine mods.

I have heard of changing the Cold Air Intake and changing the exhaust, some other minor things as well.

What I was wondering is if I can put an air filter and a cold air intake together.

Here is a link for the air filter

I have heard of a new CAI from a company called LNT, they claim that their CAI produces around 15-20 hp?

So... could I combine the two to produce more hp and torque? Or would it be wasted money?

My jeep has bug spatter all over the grill and front end. I really have never made an attempt to clean it off. I usually run thru the car wash for about 4 minutes and thats it around every 2 weeks. I scrubbed and scrubbed and its like dye in the paint. Any suggestions on getting it off would be helpful. Got any ideas?

That daft wee box at traffic lights for bikes to get priority when the light go green. Why? I have never seen a bike out run a car. With 10 yards of the lights the bike is causing an obstruction to following vehicles and that surely defeats the point of allowing cyclists to be there in the first place?

I'm a World War II collector, and the possibility of owning a period vehicle has only recently come to mind. I know there are aircraft bone yards in Arizona, and you can buy the planes (however damaged they may be). But where would you go to buy a tank, or a Howitzer, or something?
