I've heard Llumar is good, is this true?

This is a very good question and one that perhaps I might try to answer. best is subjective and frankly the real answer is which brand of film will solve your specific issue.

Llumar is a terrific brand and we sell plenty of this brand for cars and homes. Vista is the upscale version of Llumar as FormulaOne is for the LLumar car films. More heat rejection less reflectivity etc. etc.

The 3M car films are not in the same league as the LLumar Vista Films by a long shot.

On Flat Glass for homes LLumar meets the medium large missile tests as does Vista on annealed glass. 3M 's 4,5,6 ML Scotchshield films and Prestige Ultra does not!

Yeah but let me explain something to you that happened to me. I was a Security Police Officer in the Air Force and was stationed in FL and one afternoon i pulled over a man for speeding. He had window tint that was really dark. So when i approached the car he rolled the window down and i was looking into the barrel of a .45 colt yes i was terrified but my pardner on the other side yanked the door on the passenger side open and stuck a .45 into the drivers neck. Needless to say he was terrified also. And since that event happened I have worked hard to ban Window Tint darker that 10-15%
10-15% you can read a drivers lic thru when the lic is held up to the indside of the window with the window up.
Also you may want to check with your local Law or inspection
station on the tint before you install it. If it is to darl a policeman can force you to remove it or worse yet impound your UNSAFE CAR.
