Something affordable with good mileage and is fuel efficient (gas prices these days). Also a car that she will like and won't be embarrased to be seen in. Preferably one of the newer models. Just list as many as you can think of! Thanks!

I drive a 1990 Jeep Wrangler 2.5L. It pretty good for off roading, but I get about 65 mph tops. I need more power!!! But I also drive a lot, and gas is expensive nowadays.

I heard stuff about Bio-diesel. That you get 30+ mpg and get awsome Horsepower and Torque.

What is an affordable replacement diesel engine? Do I have to change my transmission? I have 4.10 gear ratio so I dont think I need to change that, do I?

Whats the most affordable way to do this change. And how (what else do I need). PLEASE HELP! I have a lot of hood space so even a pretty good sized engine would fit. The more power the better!

With the rising price of gas, and the threat of global warming -- Why are there so many SUV's, hummers, pickups, and vans on the road? When I commute, almost all of these big vehicles have no passengers, no payload -- and only the driver! There are so many appealing smaller cars to choose from, too... I just don't get it!

some cars run only on battery and can not go as far on gas cars. Some cars have both electric and gas. How does that work? What is a bio fuel made of? And Some newer vehicles engines have it where in the city only half the cilindars are used. But when we go on the highway all the cilindars are in use. How does that work?

My husband was given a brace for his car, and he doesn't know what it's called. It's aftermarket, installs in your floorboard, goes from one side to the other, and has a hump in the middle of it to go over the driveshaft. His friend called it a "body bar" but I can't find anything online about it. Anyone know what this thing is called?

1. Scion TC
2. Honda Civic Si Coupe
3. Honda Accord Coupe
4. Toyota Yaris Sedan

All brand new...
Which one would you get and why.

And why did Toyota stop making the Celica?

Hey, so I found on ebay this set of rims and tires that I reallly like but I live in Pennsylvania so of course, we have a winter, sometimes its harsh too..but not too bad.
So the tires that are with the rims are GT Radial
Champiro 328, Size: 205/40/17
Speed rating: 84W Treadwear: 280
Traction: A
Temperature: A

So i was wondering if I am able to use these tires in winter or not, because i really want the package cause its a great price....but idk if i can use them...

My mother and me were having an argument about what to do if your car ends up in a body of water and you are in it. Her theory was to roll down the windows as soon as possible but I had heard that you should wait until the car hits the bottom and then either open the door or break the window or roll down the window. So, hypothetically speaking, lets say my car loses control for some reason and I fly into an body of water in it. What should I do??

Just a few general questions about idling. I know that no answer will be the exact same for two separate cars, but I can at least use a ballpark reference if anybody can offer it. The car I'm driving is a 1998 Nissan 200SX.

Compared to when I'm driving at say about 45mph, how much LESS gas am I using when I'm idling with the engine running? Is the difference significant? How about compared to the initial ignition of the engine?

What if I don't have the engine on and I'm just sitting there listening to the radio? Does that eat up the battery? By how much? Should I not do it for too long? How long is too long?

Ive always put 20 dollars in toward my car but never filled it up. Here they make you pay in advance so I was wondering if you pay them first, fill up, then go back inside to collect your change? I didn't want to ask anybody I know to sound like an idiot. Or if you can swipe your debit card outside there and do it that way. And why are people discussing how much it costs to fill up their tanks? like for an SUV? Or an import like mine? What difference does it even make!? If one needed to they could have a 50 gallon tank added to their vehicle. I'm sure they are referring to gas efficiency... is there some code for vehicle manufacturers that states they must install a certain size tank in proportion to the MPG of the engine?
