all mustangs are bad in the snow but it depends on what year you get? the 87 to 93 fox bodies mustangs were terrible in the snow no matter what type of tires you use and weight does not help much either. i had 2 in those years and i garaged them in the winter because quite honestly they are not even good in the rain. the 94 to 99 stangs handle a little bit better because of bigger tires longer wheelbase and some have traction control which helps quite a bit. and the late model stangs i believe all have traction control which like other people said with some weight in the trunk & good snow tires you could get from point a to point b but i still would rather call in sick on a bad snow day than drive my mustang unless you love drifting.

Purchase a good set of winter tires and take it easy on the throttle and it shouldn't be a problem. If this is your first time driving a rear wheel drive car in the winter you should go to an empty parking lot when it first snows and practice keeping the car under control when the rear of the car start to slide.
Also, I recommend that you purchase a car with a limited slip rear differential. This will give you more traction for going up snowy hills, and make performance driving in the summer more fun as well.

Depends on how patient you are. Mustangs are very light and they have a fairly short wheel base so if you start to slide then the rear of the car will come around very quickly. They are fairly easy to get stuck in. And do to the weight they are hard to get going at an uphill stoplight, i Had a 91 and i thought i was never going to get up this hill that had a stop light on it. On the bright side if you are careful and like to slide around they are very fun to drive in the winter. Camaros and Trans Ams are the same way only with a longer wheel base

U can but put sand bags in the trunk so it can give weight so u won't slide to much. Also make sure to buy good winter tires sense it's RWD. Other then that it's fun to drive those type of cars in the winter a lot of donuts

Mustangs are light. Really light. Make sure you have good snow tires and be careful. There's not much weight holding you down.

My mom had one (we live in Ohio and get a good amount of snow) and as soon as spring came she traded it in. She would get stuck in our driveway after dad would plow it! They may look cool but not so cool when it snows!!
