There seems to be different technogolies used by different cameras....GPS, laser, radar etc....

Is there a single detector that will pick them all up?

If not which is best?

I agree with bestonnet_00

Stick to the road rules, they are there for a reason -
Your safety, other road users safety and pedestrians safety.
If you want to buy one then go to Halfords and see what they have, as I have never bothered looking into them, why don't you save the £300 you would spend on one and buy something more decent with the money.

There is no detector available to pick up every type of camera used today before they are deployed, i,e. handheld lasers as used by mobile speed traps. They are only emitting a traceable signal as they are locking on, so its too late to slow down. Each technology has its own quirks, so its difficult to make a detector that is universal.

Obey the road rules and you won't need to worry about crap like that.

Both good answers, but beware, the government are making them illegal.
