Would it effect acceleration/top speed? I would think the drag would make it slower..

You are correct. It will increase the drag coefficient and the faster you go, the more the drag. About the only effect you will see would be a little less gas mileage, and I doubt if you'll even see that. So that leaves the wind noise as the biggest thing you'll notice. good luck.

TOP SPEED WOULD BE AFFECTED GETTING THERE TO A LESSER DEGREE BUT TOWARDS THE TOP MORE-SO.
BUT ONLY BY A TINY AMOUNT
CLOSE EM AND SWITCH ON THE A/C OOPS THAT USES HORSEPOWER TOO!
