I'd buy one too, but there isn't one on the market that you can really afford. I commute bout 10 miles each way, and the highest speed limit I see on my commute is 50. If somebody would just build one, with all the shortcomings, it would do fine.
They keep waiting to come up with more capability that I don't need. I'm the type person that has a car for every occasion. I'm not looking for an electric car that I can take on vacation. I could rent a car for that, dirt cheap, if I didn't have 4 or 5 other cars.

I think it is a good idea, but I'm not too sure if the technology is where it needs to be for general consumer use. It's fine if you are going about 20-25 miles at a time.
When they get the performance and the distance up, I wouldn't mind having one. We'll see what happens in the future.

They are fine on short drives get up to 60 in 6 sec.the electric heat is adequte for Minn.whether yhey are quite and rides fine enough room for tall people

I worry about how they would function in the very cold winter climate we have up here. Our car batteries we have now only function about 50% in winter and the internal combustion provides lots of heat to the cabin and to clear our windows of frost.
