Bought my car this way and on my key ring-it has the official Chrysler emblem that says UNLOCK/LOCK -but the unlock button makes the driver door open when you push it and the lock button is SUPPOSED to open the passenger side door---The problem is that they only work when THEY want to work and at times I am actually trapped inside my car as the inside door handles don't work and I push a button UP for open the driver door and DOWN for opening the passenger door...I really need any help with this....is there a short somewhere?? and why, after I keep pushing these buttons after 10minutes, the door finally opens!!!!???

Push the unlock button once to unlock the drivers door. Immediately push it again to unlock the passengers door. If that doesn't work go to a mechanic because something is wrong.

i'm thinking those that have the button mechanisms are extra for the counter-type microwaves the place those with the take care of are for outfitted-ins. that is conceivable if for some reason the take care of sticks or turns into no longer ordinary to open you ought to pull the subject off the counter and into the floor. With a button, you would be pushing on it somewhat than pulling. because of the fact the outfitted-ins won't flow, the take care of is okay because they are securely related to the wall or backside of a cabinet or something.

I do not think this was stock. There has to be an emergency release. Talk to the person you bought it from.

ASK THE DEALER , IT MAY JUST NEED NEW BATTERY'S OR THE SWITCH IS GOING BAD
