i bought an undercar kit for my car, and i went to this garage to tint my windows and asked him about installing those, and he said i dont recommend it, cuz if u drive in winter they break really fast? is that true? i live in canada so we get a lot of snow lol, what do u guys think?

Well neon lights are made up of gas in a thin glass tube. Unless you have a way of protecting that glass tube I can see it breaking. I think the lights are great for show cars that aren't driven much.

I had neons mounted under my car for 2 years. Never cracked. And I drove in some less than stellar places around Denver...

Your car does throw rocks from time to time, and that might break a bulb. I'm sure snow isn't great for them either. If you drive over some deep snow, I'm sure your gonna break them

They are made of glass. Glass becomes very brittle in the cold.
