The spark plug on my 2005 Honda 400EX keeps fouling up. I am the only rider on it and I do not choke it to start it, and I do not ride it in 4th gear going 10 mph either. I clean the air filter regularly and it is bone stock, no mods at all. It seems to be getting worse as it will hardly idle. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am new to sport bikes. I have a ninja650. Its fun and has enough power/torque to keep me happy for now. Ive rode for almost 700mi. in 2 months. The other day i merged onto I75 south of Tampa. I was following some guy in a mini-van going 40mph. I was trying to merge but the van wasnt speeding up. I got pissed and nailed it. I noticed as i leaned out to pass the bike sorta had a drifting feeling. I still felt that i had control and loved it. Was i wheeling or just unloading the front suspension.
As soon as I hit 4th I was at about 80mph and the front came down some and I had normal control.

A Honda Aero 50cc
only 314 miles on it and
only $ 600.00
BUT ...it's an ' 83 !

It would be my first scooter. I don't mind riding in the bike lane
but I have to get up a few hills and I'm ( wince ) 200 lbs !
Would this one have the power to get up a few hills?
Is mileage more important than age or vice versa when it
comes to it falling apart soon ?
I've got to decide this A.S.A.P.
Please help !

hi can anyone tell me what the right mixture of petrol and fully sithetic 2 stroke oil is for the 1998 yamaha yz 125. I recently bought this bike and payed what 2 me was a lot of money and i want to make sure its just right. the bloke i got it from who serviced it regularly gave me some fully sinthectic 2 stroke oil with the bike and has told me he mixed it to a 45/1 mixture but since then i have read the yamaha pucka workshop manual and it states in the spec for this year and model a 30/1 mixture im confused which is right if the manual is right why would he have put 45/1 in it anyone who knows would u please let me know cos i want to use it tommorow and i want it to be right and running at its full power and i dont want to fook it up thanks

I have seen other riders strap there helmet to the side of their bikes while riding but it seems that my bike doesn't have that option. Maybe there is something I can buy.

A friend came by to visit one night. He parked his bike in front of 1 of my 3 garage doors. He sleeps in because 2nd shift. I went to leave.... and didn't want to hit his motorcycle. I moved it... rather dropped it! It is scuffed... the windshield. Scuffed the item similar to front quarter panel.... Most likely can be buffed.... I feel I am 80% at fault. He really doesn't want to take my cash... How can I repay him.

made daft error and connected battery wrong and it sparked, bike now dead when i've reconnected battery properly. no engine lights... nothing. fuses checked, replpaced oe which had blown, but still nothing happening, anyone know what could hve happened to the innards when i connected to wrong points on the battery. its mega urgent as i sold the bike, and the guy arrives at the weekend to collect.... ooops !! t

you may think this is a dumb question but, i wouldn't ask if i already knew.
when carrying a passanger do you raise the suspension?
also what other mofifications and/or adjustments should i do to prepare my bike?

this will be the first time i carry a passanger
bike is a 2002 honda shadow 600cc

I just got my Suzuki Boulevard C50 from the dealer today, and everything was fine till I was playing with it today. Second time I started it up, the Engine Oil pressure warning light came on. I had someone sit on the bike while I checked the oil level window, which was full of oil. Is this something I can do by myself or should I notify the dealer?

I have channged the gas and check the fuel filter and spark plug. I have been told to check the carborator. I have also been told to check the vacuum fuel lines? Please tell me what you think I should check first. It only has 75 miles on it. It is practicly new and I don't want to take it apart if it is a simple fix.

I am 23 and I still don't have a car. With school and everything else I really can't afford car insurance, gas and car payments so I decided to try something with two wheels. I looked into scooters for a while and came up with a Yamaha Vino 125 as a good option. While at the dealership I came across the Virago 250 and I'm wondering if its a better idea to get a small motorcycle instead of a big scooter. I'm not really into the sport bikes.

Any ideas? Dose the Virago seem like a good idea for someone just wanting to get around town a little?

Years ago I had a great product called Haze Away. It virtually renewed plastic (vinyl, acrillic, etc) removing micro-scratches and minimizing deeper marks from face masks, goggles etc. Just wipe the cream-in-a-tube on and wipe off. Buff with a soft cloth. Anybody know of a current source for Haze Away or similar product?
