You don't raise the suspension, you stiffen the rear shock's spring, to accommodate the extra weight.
I forget how to gain access to it. Either remove the seat or the side cover.
At the top of the shock is a ring with holes all around it.
There's a spanner tool in the tool kit to use for turning it.
Turn it clock wise to tighten (stiffen) the spring.
Count how much you turn it, so you can turn it back for one-up riding.

Your rear shocks are adjustable. It would be a good idea to stiffen them a notch or two. About all you can do with the front end is use thicker fluid if the shocks are too soft.
The more important thing is for your passenger to trust you and lean with you or you'll have trouble controlling the bike.

Motorcycles are made to carry passengers, no modification needed. Depending on the weight, you may want to adjust your rear shock pre-load. You just make the spring a little stiffer to compensate.

Read owners manual, if you have one.
If not, max weight is somewhere in the 450lb range and you will need to adjust the preload on your shocks.
