Motorcycles - December 2006

6,000 miles, security system and chromed to the max - even the swingarm. I need this for insurance. Thanks in advance :)

i just bought 1976 cj360t from some guy
it's a kick start and the owner showed me how to start and ride and everything
it started fine when he showed me and i started up and it started up fine.
I droped the bike once(barely and softly) but it had sissy bar so engine did not contact the ground. i started right after i droped just to make sure and it started right away.
after the owener was gone i went to eat and came back to ride it, it would not start!
i tried and tried even push start with my friends and still would not start!
it tries to start but the throttle would not open up! trottle cable it fine but it's not revving up
took the spark plugs out to just check, and left spark plug was kinda wet. i cleaned it up and tried to start it up again, and still would not work....
it's an old bike but the owner said it never done that before...
WHAT DO I DO!!!

Now they just cut ground for a 100.000 SF world Hedquarters Here in NY. They had the govener come for the ground digging. I use to like them when they were small 3 man shop But now it is getting so Big. The last show was when Mikie way Babsitting one of the guys in the shop Baby. The baby went in her pants and Mikie was making a big deal about it. What a A Hole he is!!!!!! How can this show keep going? Paul SR now wants to mass produce Bikes YA RIGHT . They Have no clue about Business when there Days are done for TV they will be chapter 11!!!!!

this guy was a showstar riding a scrambling motorbike called jeremy poor.(i think) let me know what happen to them. The last time he act was in Wallingford/cholsey/moulsford.

i would like to know the diffrence between "v" engine and an ordinary or inline engine(classical). many cars and mobikes of this generation are opting "v" engine. i.e. in india
skoda, mercedes and bikes like hyosung aqila, comet from kinetic motors.
i would like to ask if i will compare karizma with comet as karizma(as both the bikes are of 250cc) is having single cylinder engine versus comet is having " v twin" engine. so which bike will be more powerfull? compare both the engines on parameters like average, maitainance,durability and costing.

also the previuse owner put a clutch out of a 98 model. does anyone know if they are the same number of clutch plates and is the basket the same?

I checked all filters, and gas lines, spark plugs, and they were fine. There is less than 5000 miles on engine. I also Have Problem With charging system.

Listen, before the smartass responses waste my time and give you a false impression of your own wit, I'm looking for an equivalent to the BMW C1 that I can legally purchase and register here in the U.S. (Our wonderful Fed. Gov. won't allow BMW C1 legal importation status). I don't want a car, I want a bike with seatbelts and a rollcage like a BMW C1. My house is on an island in the Puget Sound and it can take almost an hour to get on the ferry during workdays to get both on and off the island. However, motorcycles are allowed on without waiting. Since it rains alot in the Seattle area, I'd like a little more protection than the average bike because I'll be riding it throghout the year. Finally, if you must be a smartass, at least make it worth the read.
