I got tried of it after a few shows. They build the same big over and over. Most of their bikes look like modified Iron Horse or Big Dog.

So...heres an "idear"...you don't have to watch it. Are you sick of your bike too...Has that trend passed for you? Well, in ten years when being a biker is "back in style" and you decide you should get a bike again, us loyal bikers that aren't into the current trends will still be here.
I will never complain about any show that has bike builder or anything about bikes...these days. Not too long ago the movies that were made about bikers were all the same corny sterotype gang movie. At least now there is a good variety. But there are some good points about being staged antics...and also I would prefer Exile style bikes myself...if I had the CA$H.

I am happy for the real bikers to have some of the spotlight- OCC is a major contributor to this explosion. I think Jesse James is one of the best fabricators of our time, though and enjoyed monster Garage much more....
It would be cool to see a sport bike or vintage mx bike built on Tv, but much like Nascar taking over almost all race coverage, networks do what pay the bills. Hype is and has been more important than substance since the late 80s early 90s mainstreaming of Nascar...........
Certainly, the majority do not feel as a few of us here do-look at the economics of it....If you could hype it enough youcould get people to eat horseshit...

OCC sucks. I would not pay what they want for a bike. I saw the NAPA bike in person at the local NAPA store. Not impressed! I agree with Bob it looked just like a Iron Horse motorcycle except a couple of custom parts. Plus all the yelling and crap on that show is an act, my Dad would deck my *** if I talked to him that way. It doesn't matter how old I am.

I think the "whole" chopper thing is overdone. I went to Wal-mart and they had an inflateable Santa on a Chopper...ugg.
For pilot, what do you think a chopper is. A chopper is a normal bike cut and "chopped" into a custom bike.

After i saw the first episode I quit watching it right then and there. Same with Boyd Coddington and his show. I don't care how good the bike/car looks...if an a**hole builds it...I won't watch the show. Then again I don't like Jesse james much either. All these guy's 15 minutes were up a long time ago.

They were a dysfunctional family when the show started, and are getting rich off their ignorance. How can you argue with something that pays off like that? They get high bucks for bikes that are built by buying parts from every other builder and assembling them. ******* of the first order.

I got sick of it after the first few episodes. I don't see them really design and build anything. They take stuff out of a box and weld it to a frame that's already been built. The may make accessories or cut a tank, that's already been made, in half and make it bigger or smaller.

Getting? They got stupid a long time ago. Has it been three years already? I only watch when I feel I need a laugh.
Edit: DAVER, good point about the turnaround in popular point of view.
