I'm about to start up, I'm 35 yo, and I'm not the crazy-rider type (won't take crazy chances). How dangerous is it?

How can I remove the nut when it is almost perfectly round? It is difficult to get at and I have already used wd-40. Is there maybe a tool that mechanics use to remove stripped nuts?

I have a 1995 750 Gixxxer that is running marvelously with one exception...it overheats while riding in the city (i.e. stop and go). While it get's to the "H", it always goes down once I start riding again. I brought it to my local cycle shop and they were puzzled. I found the radiator reserve(under the left rear fender), but how do I get to the radiator to check the fluids and maybe drain and flush?

I was wondering what the emissions are like on different motorcycles and how they compare to cars emissions as well.

I moved to an apartment complex with no assigned parking so sometimes I might have to park it where I can't see it. There is nothing I can chain my bike to so I want to get something to secure it that works any suggestions?

runs ok when battery fully charged, but had a voltmeter on the battery and when ticking over its making about 14 ish volts, if i rev it the volts drop to around 13 volts, now, if i put the lights on the volts drop to a critical level, if revved its ok but on tick over with lights on it will drop so much that it cuts out. Changed the battery, reg/rec, plugs and coils, dont know where to look next, also the reg/rec and wiring that plugs into it gets very hot, is this supposed to happen? could there be a short somewhere? help!!!

There seems to be more and more negative press and propaganda about motorcycles. Do you think it is about time bikers take more intrest in their neighbors and non motorcycling public. After all respect is mutual and many people feel that "Loud Pipes Violate Rights".

Who should be expected to wear ear plugs in their own back yard or head phones to watch TV?

The loud pipes save lives is not at all factual. After all when a bike pulls up to a intersection or to vehicle, it is not heard untill it is past and driving away.

There have been many new laws passed throughout the country regarding motorcycle noise and the AMA is spending valuable resorces defending the privilage to ride. Remember operating a motorvehicle is not a right but a licensed privliage.

Check out this video...there is more and more anti motorcycle propaganda every day. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rt-ytACeVM0&search=motorcycle=

How can I teminate or discontinue my Hire purchase agreement and what will be the implication. I recently bought a motorcycle under this agreement but realised the risk and danger of riding motorcycle.

I am intending to get a car instead so I got no need for a bike.

I have a Suzuki Intruder VL125LC (2003) to sell. It's in mint condition and has only done 1500 miles.

Is there a website that can tell me what it would be worth?

When people ride their scooters to the train station or elsewhere downtown, and then have to leave them for a while, are they generally ok if they put a kryptonite lock on them, or are there other measures people take?

Because of the economy and record high oil company gouging at the gas pumps, added to the fact that I think the Vespa scooter is really kewl and fashionably continental, I am going to purchase a scooter; however, it may not be a Vespa. I've seen others online that look good.
Your advice is appreciated.
Thanks!
