When people ride their scooters to the train station or elsewhere downtown, and then have to leave them for a while, are they generally ok if they put a kryptonite lock on them, or are there other measures people take?

any heavy duty chain lock should hold it, it doesn't have to be the best (kryptonite)
superman doesn't steal anyway...
seriously, just don't do what i saw downtown here...
chain locked to a 5 foot high post ... all somebody would have to do is lift the bike over the top of the post
i wish i could insert the picture i took

train stations have security gurads/ police and are well lit. if the key isnt in...then it would take some time to steal. just ask yourself how ppl with motorcycles keep thei bikes from being taken.

They lock them up like a bicycle. Or they take them inside with them if they are not too big.
