I have tried a power washer but it didn't work. The only way I can get it all clean is to get a rag and some cleaning fluid and get down on my knees and scrub. The problem is all the tight crevices around the engine and wheels. So after I kill myself trying to get all nice and shiny it only lasts about a week or so. I was thinking maybe a steam cleaner would shoot all the dirt out. Any suggestions?

I have a 1998 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R which I have owned for 3 years. I had a small gas leak from the hose that comes from the gas tank so I replaced it. That problem is fixed. I still smell like gas after riding. The other gas hoses were not changed because I did not see any gas leaks. I have changed my spark plugs but not my air filter.

Put new bars on my bike, now the brake cable's too long. Routing didn't seem to clean it up enough, so I'm looking for a cable that's 4" shorter than stock. Trouble is, I can't seem to find anyplace where you can get a cable by saying "a 47 inch Yamaha brake cable". They always go by "fits model number..." People are replacing risers/bars all the time, so someone's gotta know!?
