Have you checked to see if it has spark? Nobody seemed to mention that. Lay the plug against the cylinder head while still connected to the harness. Crank the motor. "hold fingers to rubber harness not the plug or you will get a zap". You should see a nice blue spark. Your bike needs gas, compresion, and spark to run. If there is no spark remove case covering ignition and spray with electronic cleaner. Only try cleaning the carb after knowing if there is spark or not.

your float has probably stuck closed on it,,it,s a common cause when one sit,s,,mine did it one year ,,no biggy though,,take the bowl off the carb,,and spray some carb cleaner around the needle area,,and also all over the bottom bowl area of the carb,make sure you get all the yellowish stuff that,s there,,that will be the old gas that has jelled,,after you get it cleaned out,,crank it a few times with the plug out of it,,then ,,be sure and put a fresh plug in it,,after a few times it should start,,it may run a little rough to start with,,but should clear up in a few minute,s,hope this work,s for you.

Clean the carb (s) with spray cleaner, and then check the points to see that they're clean and properly gapped. Remove the plugs from the engine, and turn it over to see 1) if the plugs are sparking, 2) smell to see if you're getting fuel into the cylinders.

check for a clog on the filter at the carb. or if its fuel inject you will have to see if you getting anything at the injectors also is your filters at the gas tank clogged and is the pump in the gas tanks getting any spark be careful here dont blow yourself up ok sorry thought this was a auto but im right in the gas line and filters check and see if you have a dirty gas line , replace it and blow all the lines with compressed air make sure your getting spark at all the point s you need to.

If it has carbs, the floats are mostlikely stuck in the shut mode, take a rubber or plastic hammer and tap the bottom of the float bowl, or take them off and clean and repair them. The gas has a red die in it which varnishes the float and make everything sticky like a glue.

"robin j" gave the correct answer. So you don't run into this same problem, learn how to "winterize" your bike. There are a lot of steps to take before parking your bike for the winter or long time storage.
Everyone who reads this, print out a copy and "use" it. It'll save you a lot of headaches in the spring when you want to ride, instead of working on your bike for 2 weeks.

Try starter fluid and, jump it from a car. It will make it crank harder and faster from a car battery. This will work, we have done it more than once on different bikes. This is safe even if people tell u its not.

you put new spark plugs, but have you tested it for spark and if so is it a little spark or aq good spark? is fuel getting to the carbs? does it cough ? is your pet cock valve working, the knob to turn fuel on and off?
