My brother and I bought 2 brand new Suzukis for a summer motorcycle vacation. I got a 1400 Intruder and he got a 1200 Bandit, they cost $15,000.
The Bandit leaked gas and filled the motor with gas before 2000 miles and ruined the motor. Suzuki messed around all summer with us telling them our vacation being ruined and we were loseing a ton of money. They could care less, we asked them to just swap out the motor, oh but they couldn't do that, it would cost $3,000 bucks to do that. Well they spent all summer and $3,700 bucks to rebuild the ruined motor.
The gas stained cases were not replaced nor were the burnt exhaust pipes, the bike was apart for so long it got nicked and scratched all over. The bike when fixed looked like crap and ran worse.
When Suzuki of Am Fd up we even called Japan nothing did any good. BUY a Suzuki and get screwed like we did!!!

when u toss the bags over one side (front or back ) is curved one is straight.. they are not slanted bags so its hard to tell which way they go.

Do you need a bike licence to ride a trike or quad on the road?

I know that even with your car licence (held since 88) you still need to sit that darn annoying CBT and pain in the *ss Theory Test before you can take even a 125cc bike on the road. But is it the same for a trike and/or quad?

If I am using nylock nuts do I need to still use anti sieze? I want to replace all bolts to chrome including my motor mount bolts. Some say locktight others say always us anti sieze for chrome. Just looking for info on the right way to do it.

I need a trick to remove the magneto so I can change the points. I have tried a gear puller but the magneto is stuck tight. I have sprayed it several times with WD-40. It does have a keyway on the shaft, is it possible this is the problem? This should have been a simple thing, but now hours later I have gotten nowhere...Help!

My husband and I have a disagreement. My overactive imagination sees a moose jumping in front of the motorcycle and we can't stop before hitting them both. I say we should leave even more space for a motorcycle than for a car.....because a motorcycle offers less protection for its driver and there is a tendency to drive even closer to a motorcycle because it is smaller and appears more distant than it actually is. My husband tells me not to worry and points to other vehicles' driving distances, which are even less than ours. Moose really do jump out in front of vehicles here.
