I have one of these and they are good first timers if you have no intention of misbehaving. Great for building up your confidence. If you've had your second service you may have noticed a change she can be a schizo and forget she's a commuting bike so the A13 is a nice place to weave in and out and open the throttle (after the Ferry lane exit is an accident blackspot)
The bike likes revs or you find your gears sticking. If you got good tutoring theirs not much to add look for open winding roads to start to get the kneescraping practice. She handles well. If in doubt do a bikesafe course

don't bother just sell it and buy a Gixser or a babysuzy bandit both r great fun around the town the baby bandit is best cos you don,t have 2 worry about breaking expensive bodywork cos it has not got any ! around the town it is like a mad version of my old yam 350 LC but with a four stroke engine that you can rev as far as you want not so good on motorways and the like! Around the town it always sounds like its going faster than it is! Nice handling predictable temper and 100% quick enough for the city and me saying its like a bigger 350LC yam is reference in its self and as a added bonus it is a very comfortable thing 2 ride and you don't have to be a male Kate moss to ride the thing cos it has space for a beer belly like mine and if you are that way inclined it pops great wheelies !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you haven't taken a course, take one. I don't know what your last bike is, but you've got some decent power now. Learn how to handle it, always respect it, and have fun.
