In the past, WHITE was a very difficult color to apply to vehicles. They would rust, the paint would peel, etc...
Modern paint has solved that problem. WHITE is now readily available for vehicles.

a chum of mine had a pearl/metallic custom job that he bought for his spouse, with completely valenced fenders and blue pinstriping. somewhat appeared neat, yet he kept calling it "a large bike ... for a lady" and she or he by no skill rode it. S'a techniques as i recognize, that is nevertheless amassing airborne dirt and dirt in his storage. Pity.

Mainly because it gets too dirty and shows scratches and dents really well, due to the fact that the frame is silver. I think it would look really nice on a bike, however.

I guess it depends on the manufacter.
