My Envoy's differential fluid is supposed to be changed every 60,000 miles, but since the dealer says it's changed with synthetic fluid, I was wondering how long I can really go before it really needs changed since it is synthetic fluid. It was already changed one time at 60,000 miles.

My 2002 Envoy has 119,000 miles, but over 80% of those are highway miles. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Whenever I clean the inside of my car, I always am left with this film on the inside of my window. If I am driving into the sun, this is a problem, it gets kind of hard to see. I don't know if it is cleaning product im using on the windows (windex) or if it because i armor all my interior and then the sun bakes it and it evaporates onto my windshield. Does anyone know what the problem is and a possible solution?

I have a 2004 Nissan Maxima. I have 245 45R18 size tires on the car. I called to price tires I was quoted a prices of 580.00 for 4 tires. Well when I got there I was told that price was for H class and not V class. The price for V class was 255.00 per tire. What is the difference?

We just re-painted my car. The next step is to add the clear coat (which is that gloss-like spray in a can) --- but how do you apply the clear-coat on, exactly? Do you just simply spray it? Because we're afraid if we just simply spray it, it won't fall on top of the paint uniformly. Help! (Car experts only / similar auto-experienced folks)

I'm considering Goodyear Eagle F1's, mainly because it's a local company. But I hear good things about Michelin's and Bridgestone's also. My Pirelli's have been good on performance, but they're loud and they went downhill quickly at 30,000 miles.

I came back after a 20 minute journey this morning and there was a trail of silvery grey and white hair in a 20 ft long length - lots of it, not just a thin strand - looked a bit like a wig when all pulled out and clumped up. WHAT THE HECK IS THIS, PLEASE? Does anyone know. I've driven the car round the houses and it is running fine, not overheating - sweat as a nut. NEVER experienced this before - HELP!

I've heard a couple of times that adding some brake fluid to your engine oil act as a detergent and will remove a lot of sludge etc from inside your engine. Is this true? Are there any seals or gaskets that may be affected by the brake fluid?

The car jerks all the time, and I've been driving a stick since 1995 in three different cars. I think I'm actually getting worse! Lately I've been thinking: if I am damaging the transmission every time I depress the clutch, then I must be damaging it while stopped and in first with the clutch down, while shifting gears at all, while shifting to neutral before a turn or a stop, when the RPM goes over 3000, etc. I've always thought automatics were weak, but I don't even want to drive my stick anymore because I don't understand how to stop damaging the transmission every second of driving?

Tomorrow I'm changing the "O" ring on the intake manifold. Is there any other replacement parts necessary besides the gaskets I would need. This is the first time I'm doing this. Any tips?
Any other general information that might be helpful to complete the pull and replacement?

I got the DTC codes that are 38 and 41... I know 41 is for Camshaft sensor or Camshaft Ciruit is faulty.. And I don't Know what 38 is and the two possibility answers are.. Brake Switch Low or Twighlight Sensor Low. Which one is it. I know the Brake lights work just fine. But the twilight seems to be working but the headlights did come on while it was still daylight outside. Where do I start with this... And Does the DTC 38 Turn on the CEL?
