My Envoy's differential fluid is supposed to be changed every 60,000 miles, but since the dealer says it's changed with synthetic fluid, I was wondering how long I can really go before it really needs changed since it is synthetic fluid. It was already changed one time at 60,000 miles.

My 2002 Envoy has 119,000 miles, but over 80% of those are highway miles. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

If your differential is making no noise while turning sharply while going slow the synthetic fluid is doing it's job.
If your handbook says to change it at certain intervals I'd change it anyway to prevent the clutches inside the rear end from grabbing and making noise.
There once was a time when GM sold a a supplement for protraction rear ends made of whale oil. The environmentalists made them stop producing it. It worked wonders.
