We purchased the van used and it didn't come with the owner's manual or the keychain remote door lock.

I was able to buy the keychain remote on ebay which came with it's own set of instructions for programming, but the van is also equipped with the keyless touchpad on the driver's side door.

I don't have any idea how to reprogram this system and don't believe that the keychain remote instructions will help in any way.

I would appreciate any help you can offer.

I have a 88 Chevy Blazer 2.5L TBI FI, that will turn over but will not crank. I have taken the breather off and I can see fuel being sprayed while the car is being turned over. Althought it's not a real good spray more like a spit.I have also taken each spark plug wire off and with a screwdriver initiated a test to see if the wire will arc to the block and frame. All wires are arcing, I have done the same to the coil wire. The coil wire arced as well. When you first turn the ignition switch on I do not hear the fuel pump but I am not sure if I should be able to hear it. but the TBI are spitting fuel. If someone could possibly lead me to the right direction I would very much appreciate it. .

i have a 2000 mustang gt (v8) two weeks ago my car was giving my 19 mpg like usual and its pretty good for a v8, but about 2 weeks ago ive started to notice that my gas milage was decreasing bad right now im getting 15 mpg and 16 is im lucky, i already check the air filter and its good its only been on for a bout 2k miles and my oil change its not due until about another 1k miles, what else could the problem be, please i need some help because gas is killin me thank you in advance

I'm worried that sometimes I'll believe I have plenty of gas left when I actually don't...could I need a new cluster?

I've been setting up the timing on my 67 mustang for a bit now because even when I set it, it seems the timing jumps on me.

The Carburetor is perfectly tuned. Idles great. New intake manifold gasket, distributor is an all electric conversion.

Now I'll set it to 6 adv. initial with the car warmed up at idle, vacuum advance line clogged & unplugged from the carb.

And it sat perfectly at 6 adv for a good 10 to 15 minutes.

Start it up this morning. Now I'm at 8 adv? I unplug the vaccuum advance and clog it again. Just to make sure the vacuum advance didn't quickly kick in and advance me to 8.. And it's still sitting at 8 after snapping the throttle back a few times to see if the vaccuum advance would eventually give in. Now my car is sitting at a solid 8 degress advance.

Is this normal and I'm just stupid or is my distributor drive gear or cam drive gear taking a **** on me?

My 2000 Sable started to overheat in heavy traffic/idle. Coolant bubbles over the resevoir cap during this.
Checked all my fuses (OK) but can't tell if the relays are bad.
Not sure if the fan is running or not BUT A/C runs cold and vent runs just as cold.
When I overheat, heat comes out of vents when manually cooling car down.
Recently had heater core tubing replaced.
Please help as I now work in the city and I am overheating more frequently.

Yes so this 97 Maxima just WONT turn....all i get is 1 or 2 "clicks", and thats pretty much it..... (It has been dormant for 3yrs, but the Battery is next-to-new)....however:

- The radio comes on
- The power windows work perfect
- the interior lights are A-OK
- the Hud-Panel lights up nicely
- A/C-----> GOOD!

SO bascially what i am saying is: the car's features are fully-operational, but the engine just WONT TURN or "The lights are on, but nobody is home!!" lol.....

Also - The car does in fact have an Alarm System, and many other people put there say that this in fact could also be a prime suspect......any ideas

I know where all the fluid tanks are, the spark plugs, filters, belts...you know the basics. I'm interested in vehicle tuning and customization. I dont mind having a professional fix up my vehicle but I really would like to learn more about autos and there is no automotive school where I live. Any help?

I've changed the gas cap, and it runs like a champ but wont pass smog because of that damm light beiing on. thanks for any help.

I've never had problems with it before, but it now has about 85000 miles on it, so it's probably starting to wear, but now I have multiple issues:

1. When I start the car, not always, but sometimes it kind of rumbles and shakes, then stops after a few seconds.

2. When I drive, I can hear the front left tire as it rotates. it's almost as if there is an uneven spot in it or something. It started when I took my car in for a tune-up a few months ago. They balanced, rotated, & aligned the wheels. I called them and they said the tires were just settling to their new position, and it would go away, but it hasn't.

3. The temp. gague has started going from normal to hot, but it is constantly moving. It's changing faster and more drastically than the car temp can physically change, so I think the temp. sensor thing might be broken? I'm in FL, so I can't tell if the car's actually oddly hot or if it's just the sun.

I just had my spark plugs, oil, brake pads and rotors all changed.

my son is great at doing axels but he had a hard time getting this very very rusted bolt off and took him 3 hrs just to do 1 side now he has to do the other and it's just as rusted,he's tried burning it,wd-40 is there an easier way.

There is a constant knocking from the engine and loss of rpm's. Almost like the engine is twitching. Also, when I am driving, it shuts off for no reason at all. When I try to accelerate, it acts like part of the engine is tied down and it sputters and knocks and will not allow me to go as fast as it used to.

I have a 2006 frontier XE auto transmission. My problem is when I start to drive from a stop my transmission thumps or jumps, like if the clutch takes a second to ingage and slams in to gear. Not real hard but enough to feel it.
Also when i come to a complete stop it feels like it jolts into 1 st gear. It has done this ever sence i bought it. Is this normal?

My mom had some kid work on her car and I dont think he put the spark plugs on right. I dont know much about cars but I see that one of the spark plugs appears to be loose. We dont really know anybody who works on cars so should we just bring it into a shop?

I am noticing all the dents in everyones automobiles and I was wondering where does one go to learn the trade of taking out the dents on our cars ? Now I'm not talking about the big dents in the cars, just the small dents in the automobiles.
