Older Muscle Cars from the 1960's and early 1970's. Though the best running car I have ever owned was one that I ran in a Demolition Derby back in high school. It was a 1971 Dodge Coronet with a 318 V8. In fact, I would say that it made me a believer that the Chrysler Corp. 318 is the best small block V8 ever built. Yes, even better than a 350 GM or a Ford 302. It also ran better than any of my recent (new) cars. Better than my Toyota Solara (which was junk) or even the Grand Prix... But to really answer the question, the oldest car I've ever driven on a "daily" basis was a 1966 Chevy Caprice 2 door 396 big block.

Not exactly what you'd call a street rod (43 horsepower!), but I did drive my dad's classic 1932 MG J2 once.

My roommate and I restored a 1930 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost. I have had the pleasure of driving it several times.
