Oil level for megane ?

does anybody know what the oil level for a megane RT 1.9dt scenic should be? thanks

If you have the oil level displayed on the odometer at switch on, don't rely on this for top-ups. It can read low, use it as a warning and check the level with the dip stick. Park the car on level ground (important) and wait at least 10 minutes for the oil to drain down before checking (also important). Add a little at a time, waiting to check the level. Don't fill above the top mark on the dip stick or you may get oil leaks

After letting the car warm up, turn the engine off and let it stand for a couple of minutes. Remove the dip stick and give it a clean with a rag. Replace the dip stick and check the level, if correct the oil should be between the two marks on the dip stick.

You need to find the dip stick...pull it out and clean it. There should be clear marks on it to tell you where the oil level should be.

Make sure you put the rifght grade of oil in. Do not overfill.
