I want to make my mustang taillights sequential. I don't want to buy an expensive kit, I'd rather wire it together myself if possible. Anyone know how or know where I can find out?

Thinking of buying a Tigra for the misses. The best car i've seen has a slight bit of "gunke" on oil filler cap, oil on dipstick could be cleaner, but everything else seems clean enough.
Is this just condensation, or something more serious? The car has done 58000 miles.
Hope someone can help.

Placard says "265 v 1ph" it has been running on 277v but welds the contactor for the compressor from time to time. We have 208v 1ph available. What do you think, will it work?

Well i driving for 30min was at a light and notice white smoke blowing by my window.After 5-10 min of driving it went away.And have not driven it yet.When i stopped i gave it a couple of revs and notice a wet ring on the ground from where the exhauted hit the tar.Any ideas ?

Went to a place that said it was their policy to only put new tires on the rear of the car for safety reasons. But it is a front-wheel drive car. They refused to even sell me the tires if I didn't agree to have them placed on the back. This totally doesn't make sense to me, or any of my mechanic family....does anyone have any insight?

2.7 L engine, new alternator, new battery.. the headlights are really bright and all of the sounds come on in the car with the ignition on, however, it won't at all crank. it makes no sounds when i click it over. ive tried jumping it to and still wouldn't crank

I'm thinking about buying a cold air intake for my truck it's a 2005 model silverado with a 4.8 fast for small block engine!I heard from very expierienced mehanic's that specialize in performance, that my stock intake that hooks straight to the air filter puts out more low end torque than a aftermarket cold air intake kit.He said since I have electric fans how much cold air can you get? I don't know, he does say a lot of stuff that don't make since, but I plan on getting a custom tune from Alan nelson at Nelson performance,and in my opinon if I got the aem,k&n,or volant etc...the custom tune gives you a choice to remove torque managment, and if I do that I will have kickass low end torque anyway's!I think I'm going to get one anyway, whick brand cold air intake gives you the most gains?Money is not an issue,thanks for listening.Axelbeast

The gauge only gets slightly above Cold and no farther... The blower seems fine, I dont' think anything is blocking the air, its just the air doesn't get hot only slightly warm.
I did bring it to a local garage and their response to me was "it was warm when it left here"
I thought maybe being that I am not the first owner of the car maybe it came from a warmer climate where it had an altogether different thermostat, and when the mechanic at the garage replaces it he simply replaced it with the same one he pulled out.
Being a woman and not knowing much in this area certainly isn't beneficial to me.

Whenever I slid out of my automobile I receive a static shock. I now just hang on to the frame of the car when getting out of it .I've taken it back to the dealership three times and still no improvement. The problem that I'm having occurs during all seasons and/or weather conditions.

The lights wont come on so its the battery or the alternator, I would guess. But which? I live in Florida so there wasnt any cold weather it just sat for 9 days. I am at work for 8 more hours and really it is distracting me as to which it is. Or maybe its something else completly?
No turnover on trying to start it up, no headlights either.

I recently traded my '00 Ranger for a '01 Galant V6 LS. The other day I noticed a "loping" sound as I accelerated my car through the gears. Is this sound normal? It's only when I accelerate I can hear the "loping" but not when the car is in park or when I'm at a stop.

Also when the car is in gear and I'm at a complete stop I can hear a very low level but loud harmonic resonance throughout the car (almost like very deep bass). If I put the gear into neutral/park (i.e., putting no load on the motor) the harmonic resonance goes away. Does this make sense? Has anyone experienced anything like this?

Its for a 2002 Mazda Protege. The locks still work manually but the keyless remote or the button in the interior of the car do not work on 3 of the 4 doors.

The oil is actually leaking (while the car is being driven) from the engine head! The mechanics are suggesting that the engine requires a complete overhaul with rings and pistons repaired!Is that correct or is there a cheaper fixing solution?

I JUST REPLACED THE THERASAT AND IT WORKED. BUT THEN PUT SOMER BARRS HEADGASSKET SEALER IN NOW THERE IS NO HEAT AGAIN. SO JUST WANTED TO C IF ANY KNOW WHAT MIGHT B UP W/ IT NOW THOUGHT IF I TOOK THE THERMASAT OUT AND THEN RAN IT. IF IT WAS BAD IF GET HEAT AGIAN DOSE ANYONE KNOW IF THAT WOULD WORK R NOT.
