White smoke is typically water vapor.

When it is cold outside, this is typical since water is a by-product of combustion.

If it was a large amount and seems continueous, you may have a leak that is allowing radiator fluid into the combustion chamber.
(Possible causes of a leak are bad head gasket/cracked head or block)

I would check your radiator fluid level and watch your temperature gauge of your vehicle. If they seem fine, then you don't really have anything to worry about.

it is condensation from the chilly, extremely whilst the engine's warming up, or it may be indications that the cylinder head gasket has failed, which isn't sturdy. If the motor vehicle's loosing coolant then it desires checked at a storage before it expires in a cloud of steam.
