They may have swapped tires/rims on you, and maybe the current ones aren't balanced. Find your receipt for the last set of tires you bought and see if they match.
I doubt they would take other parts from your car. Car parts, especially the purely mechanical stuff in the suspension and steering, aren't all that expensive. It would be cheaper to buy new parts, than pay for the work hours to have the parts taken from your car and replaced with others.

I don't think it is. My dad helps out repairing some minor things on his mates cars and bikes and they all help each other. Most probably if something goes wrong it is both the owners responsibilty for giving it to your dad and also your dad. A garage is basically for tools, storing vehicles and sheltering yourself whilst repairing them so it's no biggy that your neighbour should complain about. Fair enoug if your dad uses noisy tools at night or early morning then they have a right to complain but otherwise they should stick out of it.

Call thee police station and make a report. Find out where you got your tires from because there should be a dot number on record. Also at that time figure out exactly everything that is different so when making your report its as accurate as possible. There may already be some complaints with th PD, and if not yours will make others feel as if they can come forward and someone will believe them. Good luck to you.

Who will stop you from demanding answer's from the people that worked on you're car, you paid them to do a service go investigate it don't let them blow you off. I would call 4 or 5 times a day till you get the answer's you need, tell them what is on you're mind to the point, talk to the owner, help and person that did you're car.
remember this-- WERE DOING THEM THE FAVOR--
not the other way around....

go back and complain to them. it is possible that they put old tires and rims on so they wouldn't get paint on yours. they could have forgotten to take them back off afterwords. if they don't make things right check with your state motor vehicle dept./ dealers and repairs division. they license repair shops. get your receipts for your tires and the repair slip for the time they had your car for painting. it could be that they drove your car and damaged the tires and rims. you probably need a front end alignment now to make the car drive right. good luck, hope things work out for you.

Call the police and make a report. Contact the Better Busniess Bureau. Chances are you aren't the first one that this has happened to from this shop.

Call them and tell them whats going on. (Im sure they did it) and if they give you any problems take it to higher authority, or take them to court. Something happened like this to my mother a while back, comes to find out that they were messing around with her parts, stealing them, so they can her newer parts and she gets the older parts. That was wrong so take it to the judge.

Well firstly I would approach them and ask them why there are different tyres on the car. You should ask them to correct the fault. If they don't play ball then you should go to Trading Standards!

Can you prove it?
You can always report your suspicions to the Better Business Bureau. But it will be your word against theirs if you have no definitive proof.
