I have Shopkey automotive software on an old computer and I would like to transfer it to a newer computer. I burned the entire C drive of the old computer to CD's and copied all the information to the newer computer. But I can't get it to run. Any suggestions?

The warning light for the coolant level came on. I checked the level and it was very low. Valvoline performed a radiator flush. A radiator flush is a cleaning of the system, and an evacuation of the old coolant, and refilling to correct level w/ new coolant, or am I mistaken? Was I ripped off, or is this indicative of a leak? Shouldn't they have spotted the leak? What should I do?

Lexus dealer charge anywhere from 130 to 150 dollars for 5000 mile oil change. I have LS430 2005 and I would like to cut the cost of maintenance on my car. I was told Lexus has special gasket on oil filters, so the mechanics has to know what they are doing. Is it safe to use neighborhood mechanic for maintenance or is Lexus dealer absolutely necessary for this.

I have a 84 coralla sedan rear whell drive my friend said theres a object interruupting my air flow because my heater hoses are hot but it doesn't blow that good where are the sceaws.

When I'm at a stop sign and start to take off it doesn't wanna go it jerks a little bit but once it gets going it goes. Also last week I had the spark plugs changed and the guy found I had a lot of oil in where the spark plugs go.....What does that mean? Can anyone tell me what the problem might be? I would really appreciate it thanks! PLEASE HELP!!

My '95 Daewoo engine has recently been cutting out when I have been driving slowly and it has been hot (ie in the City or up a long steep hill). It restarts when it has been left for about 20 minutes and so appears to be due to overheat. However, the temp gauge does not go beyond halfway and there are no other obvious signs of overheating. I have fixed a faulty cooling fan but am worried its something more serious?

Which oil is better for an 6.5L DIESEL egine that REQUIRES 15W-40 Oil. I am having a hard time deciding between Amsoil Synthetic Heavy-Duty Diesel Oil and Mobil Delvac 1300 Super. I can't figure out if the Mobil Delvac is synthetic or not. I'm not even sure if synthetic is the best way to go in diesel engines. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I filled up at a new Chevron, in Roseberg Texas....
the diesel fuel was completely clear like water! it had the consistancy of diesel, & smelled & foamed like it too. truck ran ok, maybe a little less mpg nothing appreciable! So, whats up, where's the color yelloish greenish????

My van, when i'm going uphill or after i've come to a stop doesnt seem to want to go. After a few minutes it will kick in pretty hard and be fine I went to my mechanic he pulled to codes the egr valve was bad so he replaced that and the egr stem. He thought that would fix it. It still does it but now i'm getting a 1450 unable to bleed up fuil line. He isnt for sure why it is still acting like that. He told me if it was the transmission it would give a code. Any idea as to what the 1450 code unable to bleed up fuil line is? I'm asking her because for wants 500 just to look at it without fixing it. ANy direction you can point me into will greatly be appreciated....

it is not in the value body when you change tran. it already in the trans . will not shift manule will shift up after it has once shifted ok then stop and then take offit will not shift up or goes in free wheel and some time it shift in gear i gave it a little more gas it sliped out of high then take my foot off gas it goes back in highand ever slow going in reverse it goes in safe mode

when I went to the mechanic he told me that i need to replace The EGR Valve. My friend told me if the EGR valve is not function or something wrong with it the check engine light will be on. My check engine light is not on? does that mean the egr valve is working fine?

I've just installed new brakes shoes on my 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier, it seems that they are grabbing when driving...it's not much but I can feel them. Should readjust them or simply let them wear off just enough to the point they wont keep grabbing.......any suggestions? please help.

The trunk door was smashed in, but it was replaced today with a used trunk door similar to the car's original one. The problem is the sign that notifies you if a door is not closed correctly will not shut off because of the new trunk door ( which is closed properly). I'm wondering if this could make the car battery die. Thanks in advance!

It seems to be on dry days (no rain), but that's less certain now. I've been dealing with this problem for about 3 year. It happens about 3 to 6 times in a month period, then I don't have it happen again for a while. Everytime I take it to a machanic they can't replicate the problem. As a result, I either take it home with out fixing it, or they charge me money for guessing at a fixes.

I can feel a jurking in prior to it stalling. Usually it keeps going until I lift my foot off the gas. I can, and have become skilled at, running it with one foot on the gas, one on the break and switching between drive and neutral. Not too safe.

Any guess is as good as my machanics.

Please suggest the following:
1. Price / litre for engine oil for cars in India. Price for any brand is ok although Castrol GTX & Castrol GTD are preferred.
2. Average price for oil filters? If information by car make is available, please provide (e.g. Maruti, Hyundai, Ford, Skoda etc.)
