I just change the clutch of my 79 beetle, but when i press the gas a little bit the car accelerate to much but i dont think is the gas wire.

Why when i press the gas a little bit the car accelerate.?

it might be that the old clutch was slipping when you stepped on the gas before. The new clutch doesn't slip, so now, ALL the power goes to the wheels, when before only some of it got there.

i own a repair shop,and id say your feeling the difference in the old clutch and the new one,i went through this once,when i got a new clutch put in i was amazed as how it would actually go right on,there's a lot of difference in a bad clutch and a good clutch,as you can see ,you,ll get used to it though,it takes a while ,that's the only thing i can think of,good luck i hope this help,s.
