well alot of these newer engines have the spark plugs recessed down inside the top of the valve cover, If there was oil inside the plug hole before it (the spark plug) was removed, that is a indication that the valve cover gasket is leaking. and the oil being where the plug is could be causing a gounding of the plug where it cant fire properly.

Quite simply, time to get rid of the car. You are looking at a major engine rebuild. The oil on the spark plugs are a sign that the rings are going out. The rings seal the pistons and provide the necessary seal for the expansion of the fuel/air mix during ignition to create the power for the vehicle to move. The sluggishness at start is a symptom of this problem. A valve job might do the trick, especially if the valves aren't seating right. Kind of hard to tell which based on what you have given me. Be best to take it to a mechanic you trust to have them do a through check on the engine. Might run a pressure check on the cylinders, if the pressure is weak, then you are definately looking at major engine work or a new engine. Please bear in mind this is a 7 year old vehicle and depending on the miliage this wouldn't be unusual. Most gas engines are only good for about 150,000 miles or so, dependent on care and so forth.

Sounds like your spark plugs may be fouling out from oil.... when plugs were changed was oil on out side of plugs or on the bottom (part that goes in the motor) ? .. what is vehicle mileage ? if high mileage it could be blowing oil past piston rings or by valve guides/seals causing oil build up on spark plug electrode which burns off as you go faster at higher speeds.
Could also be a fuel system problem (ie: fuel filter / fuel pump / condensation in gas tank)
These are some common causes.
There are other things that can cause this also.

A friend of mine has this same vehicle and he had the same problems. You might want to take it to your local Advance Store, and let them put it on the scan tool to see if you need a new sensor of some sort. In Dodges, the O2 sensor can cause many symptoms. I've put 4-O2 sensors in my '95 Dodge Ram, each one gave a different set of symptoms when it went out, very confusing even to the dealer mechanic. I had to eliminate the problem myself. As far as the oil in your spark plugs, just change your valve cover gaskets, not expensive, very common. Your vehicle is 7 years old now, you are going to see similar problems, doesn't mean you need to get rid of it. Just start doing more regular maintenance, leak checks, and fluid checks.

It sounds like hesitation to me. It could be as simple as cleaning around your throttle plate. As for oil around the plugs, it sounds like valve cover gaskets.

If oil replaced into found dripping off the tip of your spark plugs you the two have a bad head gasket or an somewhat undesirable piston ring. yet you prolly have the three.0L engine that's infamous for having undesirable head gaskets, that's what i could seem too. Have a close-by save examine it out and carry out the right exams which features a compression examine on all cylinders. this could help ya.
