Well if you bought the vehicle from a used car dealer, he is required by federal law to post whether or not the vehicle still has a warranty, It is a sticker that has warranty information on it, it usually has the words "warranty" and he writes in the details of the warranty, or it says "as is, no warranty" which means what it says.......you have no warranty. If you dont see that sticker, I would definitely ask and have any details in writing. If you bought the vehicle from a individual, ask , and have any details in writing.

The FTC sticker will show the warranty that the selling dealer is offering, it does not show any remaining factory warranty. Call the local dealer for the make of SUV you have, and ask the service department to check the VIN to see if there is any applicable warranty on your vehicle. You may need to pay a transfer fee as the second owner, depending on the warranty and manufacturer.

Call a dealership and ask. You give no specifics about the SUV. such as, make, yr. and miles.
Most have 3yrs/36K miles warranty only, but yours may be better.

original warranty applies to whoever ownes the vehicle..in most cases..but some manufactors who offer 100k warranty, only applies to the original owner...call the local dealership and ask them to run the VIN# and see what warranty is available...
