just a guess but you may have computer (ecm) problems. if you have enough fuel pressure and the injectors are pumping, and youve got fire to the doil, but not to the plugs, i would think it would be in the computer. try to get a code reader and hook it up to the computer. many parts stors will read it if you can take it up there, but some may let you borrow one (with a deposit, of course). it should tell you pretty quick if your computer is fried or if its 2 or more unrelated problems.

chilly climate causes a richer mix. It also causes decrease tire stress. examine your tires, inflate (even as chilly) to ten% decrease than max psi. Even a mild strengthen of weight (50 or more effective lbs) interior the automobile could also reason a drop in mileage. be particular your brake calipers are not stuck; one wheel will be a lot hotter than something if this is stuck. replacing the PCV valve does no longer harm, both, and this is extremely basic to do. same with the equipment oil interior the stick-shift transmission (use 70w90 synthetic). Tranny oil replace is very virtually as basic because the motor oil, see you later as you've a funnel with a versatile neck (the filler hollow is sideways). The gas and brake lines could also rust out. exceptionally close to the gas filter out. scent round for gas. i'm sorry to say there is no basic thanks to fix except dropping the tank and swapping out the line. you do not pick to commence using reducing equipment (sparks) round gas. those are regrettably previous automobiles yet there is no longer something else like them accessible. I were given 50.6mpg on my very last fillup a week in the past.

If this is a distributor type, check the distributor cap for a broken graphite electrode to rotor bug that is located under the distributor cap in the center.Check fuel pressure. If low you may have a leak above the fuel pump in the gas tank.Hope this helped.

possibility of bad ignition switch or ignition module...when you turn the key over to on position...are the dash lights coming on..if not then ignition switch..electrical part...but to check for the ignition module, first check for any blown fuses, or relays..if you have current to module, but none coming out...bad unit...but also the vehicle could have other problems..if the check engine light is on..run computer scan for diagnosis.
