Always replace the bulb first. Don't jump the gun.

If the flasher was bad neither side would flash, so I would say more likely bulb (socket, wiring???). Does it flash when you turn on the hazards? The hazard flasher uses a separate relay than the signals do so that should tell you right away. By the way, the signal flasher is located up under the dash near the steering column and the hazard flasher should be in or near the fuse panel.

Commonly, if it is only the right signal that wont flash, but the left will, it usually means that you have a bulb burnt out. Check to see if the bulb for the right front and rear are not burnt out, if not, then it very well could be the flasher, and it is located usually in the fuse block under the dash. it is usually round, either silver or plastic.

The same flasher operates both right and left sides so you can eliminate the flasher. There however are two flashers, one operates the four ways the other for rh & lh sigals. Bulb out somewhere. Turn four ways on and walk around the car you will soon see which light is at fault.

bulb. it may not be easy to see which one it is, but look at all of the smaller lights for your sidemarkers (if you have them) as well as your taillights and front markers. with your hazzards on, walk from side to side, looking at all of the lights on the left side individually then find the matching light on the right side.

That would be a bulb.
