Hello , I have a 1996 Nissan pickup , it is having a problem with the ODB II computer check coming up with monitors being set incomplete , california smog check allows 2 and I have 3 that are incomplete.

The Drive cycle that nissan states is BRUTAL to say the least , I could care less about 2 of the 3 sensors, I have tried all of the sequences in the drive cycle but the monitors are still incomplete. How exact do you have to follow nissan's drive cycle and is there a good way to just get one monitor to set?

I hope somone has a solution because it may take me until the end of time to correctly perform a drive cycle for this particular truck :)

I just got my car back from getting Fixed after a BIG accident...

Now, everytime i switch on the A/C, some form of gas comes out, and you could see it like steam... If you touch it, it turns to an oily substance on your palm...

What is wrong with my car? Or is it normal (just like they told me?!)

I have a 1999 Saab 9-5 V6 SE and I need an air mass sensor. Also, the TCS light randomly pops on and off when I drive it and when it's parked and locked sometimes the alarm with go off randomly 2-3 times in 15 mins. Can anyone tell me what else I need to get the alarm and the TCS working properly...and if it's more than just the air mass sensor that I need? I'm going to have it diagnostic checked, but i wanted to see if anyone else knew.

My 2000 Izuzu Rodeo needs 4 new brake pads and rotors. The mechanic I took it to today quoted me around $600. Does that seem reasonable?

When I turn the ignition key there is a "whining noise". I then rock the gear shift while it is in Park, and then it will start. If anyone has experienced this, or has suggestions, please let me know. Thanks a lot.

My Cherokee's blinkers will freeze after about 20 seconds of use. When it freezes, the passenger side front window will not roll down from either front door control panel, and the controls on the front passenger door (window/door lock) do not work at all. In addition to this, if I turn the car off (if the hazards are on and they freeze and I turn the car off) the clicking inside the dash starts to go very fast for a few seconds (it sounds like it is going to explode) and then just stops. At this point the car will not turn over, and it acts as if the battery is dead. This lasts about 5 minutes. I bought the car in 2004 and it only has about 80k miles on it. Thanks for your help!

Hi, I have a 2002 pontiac firebird. Have not had any problems till tonight. It was a bit cold outside (San Francisco, California) and when I pressed the key-chain button to open the car, it would not open. I noticed that even the radio-theft deterrent red LED that flashes inside had stopped. I got into the car manually and tried to put the key in ready position, but no indicators or lights came on and when trying to start it, it did not start.
Could this be because it was cold outside? I have not used the car in 2 days. Recently serviced (oil etc) by Jiffy Lube.
Im planning to lookup the battery "eye" (hydrometer) tomorrow morning and try again in daylight.
Any suggestions on what could be the problem? Also, 2 days ago I used a recently purchased seat-warmer device while the car was running, for approx an hour's drive. It couldnt be that, could it ?

My car seems to stall when driving down the road, almost like its not getting enough gas or something. Also, at times it will stall so badly its barely moving along, then dies. Sometimes after the car dies it doesnt start back for awhile. The plugs, plug wires, air filter and both fuel filters have been replaced. Any suggestions ??

I bought a 2005 Dodge Durango ST three weeks ago from a reputable dealer. Since then, I have had to take it back to the dealership twice because it would stutter and the check engine light came on. The mechanic (It's a GMC dealership) said that it was moisture in the #1 cylinder. He dried it out (with a blow dryer) and it ran fine....until it rained or a car wash. I washed it yesterday and it's having the same issues. I'm taking it back to the dealership in the morning. My questions are: first--have any of you experienced similar problems?; second--what kind of preventive maintenance can I as a car owner do?; third--is it really a moisture issue; and finally--should I let them have it back and get something else?

I appreciate any knowledge you might have on this issue. Thanks in advance.
