I have a 1999 Saab 9-5 V6 SE and I need an air mass sensor. Also, the TCS light randomly pops on and off when I drive it and when it's parked and locked sometimes the alarm with go off randomly 2-3 times in 15 mins. Can anyone tell me what else I need to get the alarm and the TCS working properly...and if it's more than just the air mass sensor that I need? I'm going to have it diagnostic checked, but i wanted to see if anyone else knew.

Your car ain't German. Saab is assembled in Sweden and owned by General Motors. I wouldn't start replacing anything until you have a qualified mechanic test the electronics. Could be (cross your fingers) the alarm and warning lamps can be corrected with a computer reset. Mass airflow sensor, if bad, will require replacement.

First of all, Saab is a Swedish car, not a German car. I'm assuming the TCS light is your traction control system light, right? If so, try washing your car thoroughly. I know, it sounds simple, but road grime that gets accumulated between the wheel speed sensors can cause faulty readings. Keeping your car clean is the cheapest way to prevent problems here.
