As long as rain water does not ooze in.. then why worry, or jack your car insurance up?
Just keep driving.. maybe someday you will "roll the car in a drag race" [stuff happens!] and be able to use the insurance pay off.

If the car was parked when it happened, then your comprehensive insurance should cover the damages and not raise your rates. I had a tree limb fall on the roof of my truck and my comprehensive insurance paid for the repairs and didn't raise my premiums.

was this premeditated? or do they dare each other like like reg kids? if you're going to keep the car and don't really care what it looks like, leave it. If it's creased and it bothers you, fix it.
I had a trash can commit suicide in front of my truck, bent the bumper, fender, and door($2200) it bothered me and i had it fixed. even when I take it to the back woods, I don't abuse it. It still looks good after 180,000 miles. So if your asking if your rates will go up, I doubt it, if they do it will not be noticeable. they look more at violations, and accidents(fault or no fault)

If its fixed and looks ok don't put the money out,If it needs more repair depends on the year and value of your car on rather its worth the money or not,most body shops will give free estimates.
and most insurance company's won't raise you rates for something like that.

depends on weather or not the 13yr old straightened it out or not if it looks ok and you can live with it let it go. having the roof repaired will be expensive and will most likely cause your ins. to go up. if you have a friend in that's a mech. maybe he can help.

I say leave it and avoid the rise in your insurance rates. In the meantime, carefully watch, monitor and encourage your boys' untapped talent. They may have a future on "Pimp My Ride".

If it's fine is up to you. The only reason to fix it would be cosmetic. Insurance won't cover it.

If it looks ok, then just leave it alone. Warn the nine year old not to do it again, and buy the thirteen year old, a nice inexpensive gift, to say thanks.

It is up to how it look...if new car and looks bad the you need bring it to body shop, other than that... leave it.
