If you have recently replaced any bulbs prior to this occurence, if so then check that the bulb fitted is correct and of the correct type. Many times cars come into to my workshop with this problem and find that the owner has recently changed a bulb with the WRONG replacement
If this is not the case then I am afraid that you will have to take it in

Crossed wires? Water? Loose connections?

It's either dirty sockets, which make the bulbs overheat, or loose vibrating sockets, which cause the filaments to bust.
