You guys are good. I've asked alot, here about this truck and I appreciate you all passing on these excellent tips. So, I'm getting spoiled, maybe. If it works, don't fix it. If it doesn't, I will always try to fix it, before I get a new one. Especially here, where they're $200.

For those who responded to my question regarding my starter, thanks.I replaced the starter 3 times within the last 2 days and when i start it,it still has that grinding sound like the teeth in the cone hasn't released.I even replaced it with a ford starter.could it be the ignition switch under the dash keeping the current flowing?I noticed a wire on the switch was spliced before.Alt,battaries, and solonoid on fender is new also.Hope someone can help me.Thanks......John

We just got a 98 cavalier and it makes a sound when we make a right turn. It also make the sound when we drive straight but you can barely here it. We were told by a family member that the bearings probably need greased. How do you do that? DOes it sound like the bearings to you? Thanks

I recently bought an old Audi 80. It is a great car, but whenever I start the engine, or accelerate, it makes a really loud screeching noise. It also seems to get even worse when the weather is cold.
Is this just the fan belt needing tightening, or could it be something else?

One of the wheels on my car makes a noise that sounds similar to chains rattling when I go over bumps. What could this be? It is a 2004 Chevrolet Malibu.
