have you tried looking in the OWNER'S MANUAL?

for some vehicles, it means your gas tank is low, for some it means your engine temp is high, or a sensor isn't working right, etc. The owner's manual will tell you the possibilities and let you know if it requires a full gas tank, or a trip to the dealership.

It could be a number of things, weak battery/alternator, water temp/level, oil temp/level, low fuel. I would take it in if it continues after you check all the easy fixes.

If it comes on when you first start the car, it;s normal it's just doing a system test, if it comes on while the car must be low on something such as gas, oil pressure, coolant
