I fixed the leak after it may have run out of water.
Now it wont start, but it cranks and seems like it wants to.
Yes i put coolant and water in and checked oil.
Any ideas?

This is a new issue with the temperature dropping into the 30's recently. The car takes a couple of seconds longer to start after sitting out in the cold overnight. I can re-start it fine anytime afterwards during the day.

I want to go on a raod trip maybe a 2 hour drive but I haven't changed my motor oil in 4 months but I probally only put about 600 miles on the car since then u think I should change the oil now or wait until I get back ? By the way I use Synthetic blend oil.

I have a 1988 Caddilac Fleetwood and today while I was driving it just starting dinging, kind of like the open door chime (the door was not open) I didn't have any dummy lights come on, but I am afraid to drive it now, does anyone know what this means?

I heard this car was a lemon and decidely strongly to obtain the extended warranty. However, the warranty would run me around 3700 for 3 years. Can I take care of the car myself and save that money for something else. I am pretty new to cars. I was just wondering if the warranty is worth it. Thanks!

They even chew up the toilet paper in the glove compartment. We live in the country. We have always run Nissan vehicles but never had mice get in before. They quit in the summer but started up again. Chewed many holes in a large blanket and last spring pooped all over the seats.
Yesterday we set up moustraps again and caught one in a live trap. Thank you in advance for your replies.

I have 1996 Corrola which has 100K run,still running smoothly,but dealer advices to do 90k tune up and replace timing and other belts. Please any one advice ,is it worthy to do or keep driving then discard the car.

Recently my dad had the AC fixed. The AC runs fine but leaks on the inside. Not a week after the car starts to stop while driving. When I drive it, then stop (at a stop sign or something) the car turns off. The lights and electricity is still on but the gas stops feeding. I have to park, start the car, and start driving again. Also when I drive, if it doesnt stop, it will stall when I hit the gas for like a second and then starting going. I have to park, start the car, and start driving again. Anyone know what's wrong?

Brake light on, Battery light on. Only occasionally. Dealer claims I need new alternator...seems to early in the car's life to need this. Wants $600 for it. Would love an opinion on a better solution.

Whenever my car is in park and I am about to shut if off, it idles VERY low and quietly cutts off by itself and the battery and oil lights come on...it kind of shakes when it does this...it's only when I am not pressing the gas...it also will turn off when I am in reverse and backing up...and then as I start to go forward it will do it. Any ideas?

My car started shuddering last week, like its attempting to die on me. So far, it mostly does this when idle at a stop sign or light. Also the engine sounds pretty muffled all the time now. Could this be an oil issue or something else? Thank you!

i have been studying brakes in the Motor Age ASE preperation test.
I also have been working at my dads shop for 3 years so i have experience with brakes hands on. Im only 15 and becoming ASE master certified by the time i graduate is one of my goals. so will they let me take the test and if i pass will i be legally certified?

4 cyl. 97 civic starts and runs fine. When you turn it off, it will not start once the engine has warmed up. If you wait about 3-4 hours, then it will start right away and run fine. The motor turns over like normal, it just will not crank up.
I replaced the battery, the rotor, distributor cap and spark plugs.
What could it be. The starter is okay. It does not run hot. Any ideas???
