this is beginning to sound like an oxymoron. going up @ downhill???? Or are you trying to say that you have a miss in your engine while cruising @ 45mph? Including downhill? Check for the obvious ignition wire leakage, clogged fuel supply, vacuum leaks, bad injector, bad gas, and the list keeps on going and going. Best bet.......take it to a local garage. Without more info and without seeing the car 1st hand, this is an impossible question to answer.

45 is very slow for cruise to be wording, the computer is probably not shure if the torque converter should be locked or unlocked or what, take it out of top gear and try it , do you have to drive that slow ?

try cleaning your throttle body i have the same truck and when mine was dirty it had a random misfire at about the same speed
