Is it actually worth the buy and work like it says it does? I wanted it to purchase for my pontiac firehawk 02' and i was told that it was a great product. It would be great if anyone could help me out on that.

of accident proetection and this one car rear ends another? Well, car #1(the driver) puts on his brakes -because you can hear them squealing - but the wheels of the car keep moving? Is this something I wasn't supposed to notice or do cars really do this? If cars do this -then why? Don't the brakes stop the car?

I've replaced: All new MSD ignition/plugs/set timing. I've ck'd installation config...all OK Replaced radiator/thermostat/H2Opump and the gauge sensor. I've 'burped' the coolant sys. This is a new motor/install. I have a new exhaust sys. also.
The motor is down on pwr; idles great. Exhaust sounds "airy"The overheat condition is slow...takes about 30 minutes of stop and go driving in 75-80 degree heat, to get motor to 212 degrees...turned on heater to control it.
Since it's in a 4wd vehicle; the exhaust coming off the pass. side goes forward to join the drivers side tube coming across the front of motor. It joins at a 90 degree ...could THIS be causing backpressure??

I have had the cv joints struts, steering rack and all of that stuff fixed. One shop told me my whole subframe is bad now this new shop is telling me it's just the bushings. Could they be causing a clicking noise? And could they cause tire wear? How much to fix them?

I was driving the car and it turned off all of a sudden. It will not start up again. The engine turns fine. The following parts are good:
-Timing belt still intact
-Battery with a good charge
-engine turns over
-Ignition coil in distributer is good. Primary coil has less than 1 ohm resistance. Secondary coil has 12K ohms resistance.
-Replaced ignition control module
I know there's no spark because I take a spark plug wire out and I see no spark when trying to start it.

I'm baffled as to what else it could be. The car has 286,000 miles. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Additional Details:

Checked the fuses under dash and under hood. They are all good. When key switched in the on position the "check engine" light turns off after two seconds indicating it's not a sensor because there are currently no stored fault codes.

2000 Pontiac Trans Am, weird clunk during acceleration, and oil temperature gauge fluctuating. should i be concerned?

2 problems. The first is that when u step on the throttle, a half second later there is a clunk that seems to come from the back of the car, maybe the axel. its only noticeable during low speeds, but that may be because the engine and road noise is so loud when u go faster. its most noticeable when u speed up, then let off the gas to coast or whatever, then press it again. the car jumps a little, but i think that may just be having a big engine turning everything.

second is that the oil temp gauge goes from the normal halway mark, then when u accelerate it sometimes goes up to 3/4, stays there for a few minutes then goes back to normal. happens randomly, mostly when u first get in the car.

Thanks!!

My car wont turn over, there's no lights, radio or clicking sounds. It hasnt been driven since MAY and theres a slight corrosion on the battery. I just want to make sure it's ONLY the battery thats dead and nothing else. Befor MAY it was totally fine. And is there a posibilty it can just be jumped? Or does it sound out of it.
Thanks

I went to get my car washed and there were still water spots on the windows and the car. I asked the guy there what it was and he said it was acid rain. I can get the spots off the paint with wax, but i can't get them off the windows.

Any ideas how i can get the spots off the windows? I tried soap and water, windex, proffesional auto glass detailer, but nothing works.

The truck sit for about 3 years and I got it to start. now when I let it idel at about 1500rpm's it has a miss. And when I try to drive it it will not accept the gas and runs really rough.
When it idels at 1500rpm the tail pipe gets cherry red. I don't have the tail pipe or converter hooked up, so I know the converter is not stopped up. What should I look for with this problem.

I know you should NEVER jack up a side of the car whilst the other side is on a axle stand. I want to jack up the front of my car and replace the shocks. I want to lift the front using a trolley jack and then lower the car onto axle stands on the sills. My axle stands are fairly flat and the sills are the re-inforced thin type. will they be damaged by me lowering the car onto them?
