I have had the cv joints struts, steering rack and all of that stuff fixed. One shop told me my whole subframe is bad now this new shop is telling me it's just the bushings. Could they be causing a clicking noise? And could they cause tire wear? How much to fix them?

If they are talking about the control arm bushings then Yes. It can be replaced and you don't need a new sub frame....Thank god. That would cost an arm and a leg.
The control arm bushings are way cheaper to replace. With the bushings bad or worn out it can cause a clicking when you turn or hit bumps.
When the bushings are worn out there is a void...or open space between the control arm and what it bolts to.
Basically make an OK sign with your hand. Then insert your finger in the hole. Wiggle your finger around and that's what your bushings are acting like right now. Make the same OK sign with your hand, put your finger in the hole and constrict the hole around your finger till you can't wiggle it. That would be simulating having anew bushing.
Now picture your hand and finger being metal. and do the first example again. Can you see how it would make a clicking sound or knocking sound with all that free play?
The mechanics that told you you need the bushing were being honest.
The guys that were telling you that you needed a sub frame would have eliminated the problem too but would have replaced parts you didn't need.
By the way I-AM She already said she replaced the CV joints"Constant velocity joints,So no offense but your wrong.

bushings are cheap 20$ price to install is completely different. Never hurts to get a second opinion. In your case i reccomend taking your car to the Dealer. You should get less of a run-around. Mechanics are shady people, you might spend a little more but I think you can trust the Dealer mechanics a little more, they do after represent the manufacturer!

bushing costs vary from seller to seller, but the clicking noise when turning generally means that you need to replace the constant velocity joints in the front end of your vehicle.
