OK. I was told to clean out the line from the condensor to the evaporator. I know there is a line below the accumulator, but where is the top part of the line that goes into the condensor that I need to blow the air into in order to clean this line out? I am replacing the accumulator as well, but I was told that this line needed to be cleaned out, and the orifice tube changed or else it would stop blowing cold after a few days. Please help!

I know nothing about what high-flow ones will help do. I only know the purpose of a cat and a muffler.

I want to know so that I'm not wasting my money on HEET. I've heard people say that gas' freezing point is like negative 70 degrees Fahrenheit or something unbelievably low. I do use HEET during the summer when it rained all night or in the morning to since I knew water somehow got into the tank because of the way the engine would run until I drove for a few miles until it became normal again. This also happened when I would first start my truck up in the afternoon on really really humid days.

Also, I've heard that Isopropyl, aka rubbing, alcohol can be used in place of HEET, because that is basically what the product is. Is this true and if so safe for regular 87 octane gas engines?

I have a dodge stealth. Here lately, when I make a right or left turn, i hear this awful squeal , and the steering wheel is hard to turn. I added some power steering fluid. The steering isn't as hard to turn, but it still squeals and the turns are rough. Any advise/ suggestions?

when I put it into 4 wheel drive to go up a hill, or thru mud, or snow, when the hubs come under load they click very loudly, it seems like the auto hubs in the front are not fully actuating and as a result they are slipping. if anyone can give me advice on this I would really appreciate it.

Truck is surging and stalling when comming to a stop..cleaned EGR valve and it ran fine for an hour..then started doing it again.. once it stalls it is very hard to get it started again.. sometimes there is a burning smell and there is a whining sound over the enging when revving it..changed spark plugs, wires, pcv valve, air filter, distributor cap, rotor..fuel filter is still working...I dont have the money to keep putting the truck into the shop to find out what is wrong...Any one out there have any ideas that we can try??? I have a ford box truck that I hooked up a battery isolator in to run another battery in the box for some heaters. After instalation all electrical tests were fine. Drove the truck for 30 minutes or so and now the alternator is charging at 17 volts and goes up the faster the rpm's. What can cause this problem and how do I fix it?

Okay this is totally weird! I got in my car to go to work this morning, and I'm driving, nothing out of the ordinary right? Then I turn on my left signal light and it's going like 5x faster than normal, and the right side is blinking regular. I've had the car for a year now, I only had 7 miles when I got it, is there something I could have done, or do you think it's just an electrical problem? Keep in mind, the right one is perfectly fine! I have a 2005 2door Hatchback Ford Focus ZX3.....( You like how I make it sound all like a cool car....lol j/k)
What do you think people!?

I have a 99 Ford windstar. When i bought it, it had previously been dinged up in a multi-car munch. Anyway, all the electrical stuff worked great, but now when i press the door locks, only 3 out of the 5 doors will actually lock. And sometimes they get stuck locked until i pry them up. Please give me some suggestions on how to get them back in sync.

An employee got into an accident in a company vehicle, which is insured. The employer wants to charge the employee 1/2 of the cost of repairs. The deuctible on the vehicle is $2000.00. I don't know if it is legal to charge the employee since it happened in a company vehicle and it is insured.

Today I hit a speed bump (not going fast) and my "VDC" (traction control) light and "Slip" light illuminated, along with the "Service Engine Soon" light. The engine would not respond when I pressed the gas pedal. I turned the car off and back on and it worked fine but the "Service Engine" light remained inlluminated. I took it to a shop where they plugged their computer in and the guy said it was a pedal sensor error. He told me it must have been a glitch and he reset the light. About 15 miles later, the same thing happened. I just went over my 36,000 mile mark (the end of my warranty). Does anyone know what might be the problem, and if I need to take it in to Nissan or a garage to fix?

Hi,
I have 2003 Nissan Altima 3.5. Initially the engine rattled during the cold start up but now the noise comes while accelerating as well.I got the oil changed twice, the noise on acceleration is gone but the cold start up noise is still there. Can anyone help me and tell me what we should do. Our mechanic says that we should get the engine changed. I am not ready to believe that there is such a huge problem with the engine. Because we have had no other problem with the engine except for this noise and it has only run 80,000 kms.
Tks
