Today I hit a speed bump (not going fast) and my "VDC" (traction control) light and "Slip" light illuminated, along with the "Service Engine Soon" light. The engine would not respond when I pressed the gas pedal. I turned the car off and back on and it worked fine but the "Service Engine" light remained inlluminated. I took it to a shop where they plugged their computer in and the guy said it was a pedal sensor error. He told me it must have been a glitch and he reset the light. About 15 miles later, the same thing happened. I just went over my 36,000 mile mark (the end of my warranty). Does anyone know what might be the problem, and if I need to take it in to Nissan or a garage to fix?

We at Nissan have the technology to replace the correct part. AAP or TCS sensor code do not clear the codes cycle the key get to the dealership and any luck they will call Nissan and see if Nissan will goodwill the repair to keep you as a customer. Or there is a chance the new electronic throttle chamber or ACC sensor covered under powertrain 5/50 warranty.
